FREEDOM OF SPEECH

What do we gain and what do we have to sacrifice
in order to have freedom of speech? In most countries this is obvious and regulated in the law books.

Everyone have the right to express them selves and have their own thoughts.

For approximately 3 months we have as a magazine been on the net. More than 10.000 people already found us, and more than 600 people want to be updated with a newsletter. We never thought
that the interest would be that high.

Until now we only made it in a Swedish/Scandinavian version. The idea from the beginning was to build a platform, within the country, for Cavalier lovers to meet and share experience etc, also to be able to
give our readers latest results from show, what is happening abroad etc.

Unfortunately some people see new things as a
threat instead of adapting to it and see it as an advantage. After existing 2 months we got a letter where we were accused of many things;

We were accused for taking the law into one's own hands as a magazine and announcing our selves as
the mouthpiece. Also we were using without
permission the logo and link. We were asked
to give a reply and did so.

After this rather annoying course of events we start
to think about what are our rights? We only write positive and good things, reports big events and
writes about things that should be in
the interest for the readers.

We don’t do smashing news, trying to win cheap
point with filthy journalism. What we try to do is to encourage people to be involved and have
an opinion. That’s all…

We are an independent, non-profit Magazine that covering news and information about Cavaliers & Charlies. So you could rely on that we will continue
to conduct a debate and publish whatever you send
to us as long as it isn’t anything that is slander to
an individual or publicity for a certain cause.

We are very proud of being able to expand the magazine with a lot of new reporters; we got
Australia, Holland and Finland together with already existing United Kingdom and Norway. We also have a new breed in to the Magazine, King Charles Spaniels (Charlies) and we really look forward to be able to
have interesting reports and knowledge building
articles about Charlies. We have Breeder Portrait
and this month we have the Special Breeder Portrait from Pascavale in United Kingdom. We also have
a very interesting article from our visit to
“Hundstallet”, a Swedish Rescue Center for dogs.

All this and many more things make us believe that
you will enjoy our magazine, but, we do rely on that you will keep continue sending us interesting material that we may be able to publish. Thank you – for participating in making our magazine better…

Finally, what is the price we have to pay for freedom
of speech? According to us - very minor, we will continue with what we do and not reverse for
people who are afraid of new things.
